A: To remove the wheel, loosen all the lug nuts at least one full turn, before raising the car. Raise and safely support the car, then remove the wheel and tire assembly. Remove the Brake Drum, shoes and springs, unsecure the Brake Line from the wheel cylinder, then remove the wheel cylinder and the Parking Brake Cable. Remove the hub and bearing assembly and the backing plate. To install, install the backing plate to axle, then the hub and bearing assembly and connect the parking brake cable to the backing plate. Install the wheel cylinder, as previously outlined, then the brake components. Adjust and bleed the rear brakes, adjust the parking brake cables, install the wheel and hand-tighten the lug nuts. Lower the vehicle, then tighten the lug nuts to 100 ft. lbs. (136 Nm).
