    Q:
Where is the MAF/IAT sensor located and how do you remove it for Cadillac DeVille and DTS? Posted by Customer
    A:
The sensor for Intake Manifold Temperature (IMT) stands right at the air cleaner on the air intake duct. To start with, one must remove the cable from a negative battery terminal. Next, detach the electrical connector from the MAF/IMT sensor. After that, it is important to unscrew the screws that hold MAF/IMT sensor to both the air filter housing and the air intake duct. It must be taken off from either place. Finally, reinstalling is a simple thing as described above.

    A:
The MAF sensor is located in the air filter housing and the air intake duct. Any model could use this all–in–one type. Begin by unplugging the electric connector from the mass air flow sensor or MAF sensor. Subsequently, loosen the screw that holds the mass air flow sensor to the air intake duct and remove it. Then, take out screws which are holding a cover on an air filter housing and take off MAF sensor. Finally, to detach it from cover of an air filter housing remove screws used for mounting a MAF sensor on it. Lastly, installation is done by reversing removal.
