    EVAP Purge Solenoid Valve Removal involves removing the engine cover, disconnecting the electrical connector from the valve, disconnecting the hose, unscrewing the bolt and removing the purge valve from the upper intake manifold. Installation is simply the reverse of removal. For EVAP Canister Removal, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Then, disconnect the hoses from the canister, disconnect the electrical connector from the canister vent solenoid valve, remove the fasteners securing the canister, and remove the canister. Installation is again the reverse of removal.
