Use a small screwdriver to pull up the CPA clip on the connector before disconnecting it. Loosen the hose clamp screws at the air filter box and pull the hose free. If removing the resonator over the throttle body along with the duct hose, remove the pushpin securing the duct resonator to the engine and disconnect the PCV hose from the resonator. Remove the duct resonator. Installation is the reverse of removal. Remove the air intake duct. Remove the pushpin at the front of the box and two mounting nuts at the rear of the filter box. Remove the filter box. Inspect the rubber grommet before installing the air filter box. If it's cracked, torn or otherwise damaged, replace it. Make sure that the air filter box locator pin is correctly seated in its grommet. Fresh air inlet duct and resonator assembly Removal: Loosen the right front wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the right front wheel.
