To rebulid, to take off the clutch master cylinder, first, pull the plastic clip on the top of the clutch pedal to release it, second, use a syringe to take out as much fluid from the master cylinder reservoir as possible. Tie small rags under the fluid fittings and arrange caps or plastic bags for sealing the open ends of the lines or fittings after disconnecting the brake fluid using small rags to prevent the fluid dripping on the paint work. Pull the clamp off then disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery; unbolt the two nuts on the lower and upper clutch fluid reservoir, in addition to the air cleaner duct. However, ensure that the line clip is removed from the master cylinder hydraulic line fitting then remove the hydraulic line from the cylinder. Last of all, turn the master cylinder by quarter turn anti-clockwise and pull it off from the car. To install, stick the master cylinder pushrod outside the firewall, then turn the master cylinder 360 degrees anticlockwise and the master cylinder's pushrod must match the clutch pedal's position. Depress the clutch pedal to extend the master cylinder pushrod and lock it back in place with the plastic clip. Secure the hydraulic line fitting to the clutch master cylinder, and place the retaining clip; put the clutch fluid reservoir into place. Release the clutch slave cylinder and take off the screw cap cover the reservoir with brake fluid that meets DOT 3 and bleed the clutch system.
