    Lift the trunk lid; remove the lock cylinder from the vehicle using a screwdriver and plier to open the lock 'shackle' then pry of the retaining clip off and pull the lock cylinder out of it, which may also require turning the plastic trim panel and using a 5/32-inch drill to remove the lock cylinder retaining rivets. Subsequently, to fit the lock cylinder, the latter is put in place and anchored with the help of the clip.
