- A:Remove the brake disc and install a lug nut part way onto the wheel hub bolt being replaced. Push the wheel hub bolt out of the hub flange with a press tool. Insert the new wheel hub bolt into the hub flange from the back side and install four flat washers and a lug nut on the bolt. Tighten the lug nut until the bolt is seated in the flange.
