    Disconnect the negative battery terminal. On models equipped with the Theftlock audio system, be sure the lockout feature is turned off before performing any procedure which requires disconnecting the battery. Remove the starter motor. Disconnect the strap and remove the screws that secure the solenoid, twisting it to disengage the flange. To remove the housing, remove the screws and turn it clockwise and pull out the housing. To reinstall, switch the removal steps going from the last step to the first step.
