- A:To eliminate the sway bar kit, firstly raise the car up and then secure it on jackstands taking note of use of parking brake. Thereafter take off nuts and bolts that pound sway bar kit into lower control arm but do not forget to mark the position of spacers, washers, and bushings. Immediately after that remove sway bar kit brackets' bolts and detach from a vehicle. In case any damage or deterioration signs are shown by the bushings on brackets, they should be replaced at once. To install the sway bar kit put its bushings in place with sills facing forward. Put brackets over bushings while raising the kit up against frame. Install bracket bolts without tightening them completely yet. At this point, install lower control arm bolts which link to sway bar kit, washers, spacers as well as rubber bushings firmly tightened respectively.
