    To remove and replace a transfer case seal on a vehicle, first raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the skid plate and, depending on which seal you're replacing, remove either the front or rear driveshaft. To remove the seal, pry it out with a screwdriver or seal removal tool, being careful not to damage the seal bore.
