    Q:
How to remove the fuel pump/fuel level sending unit module on Chevrolet Avalanche,Silverado,Suburban,Tahoe,GMC Sierra,Yukon,Yukon Denali and Yukon XL? Posted by Customer
    A:
At first, disconnect the cable from the negative side of the battery and release the pressure in the fuel system so that you can remove the fuel pump/fuel level sensor. Remove the fuel tank, then disconnect both evaporative (EVAP) vent line and fuel tank vent line fitting as well as two quick-connect fittings on the fuel supply line from the mounting flange of the fuel pump/fuel level sensor. With water pump pliers, rotate off a lock ring of a fuel pump/fuel level sensor using care not to damage a float arm and a float of a fuel level. After checking o-ring it may be necessary to replace one before installing a new pump. During installation, align these marks made on this flange with those on a tank and carefully put down this flange into their seats where my float arm or even floats will neither be harmed nor damaged when they are placed until they reach there at all.
