    Q:
How do I remove the A/C Hose? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the spare tire and access the necessary components, start by disconnecting the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Then, remove the jack and spare tire, followed by the jack storage bracket. Next, remove the bolts and plastic pop fasteners securing the spare tire storage panel. Use pliers or a screwdriver to lift and remove each fastener. Once the panel is removed, disconnect the outlet tube and hose assembly from the threaded fitting on the top left side of the accumulator. If replacing the inlet tube, disconnect it from the threaded fitting of the condenser inlet pipe. If replacing the outlet tube and hose, remove the bolt and support bracket from the lower rear bulkhead of the front compartment. In the engine compartment, unbolt the compressor hose fitting and disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses. With the vehicle raised and supported on jackstands, remove the catalytic converter heat shield, three support brackets, and the fuel tank reinforcement brace. Finally, remove the inlet or outlet tube. To install the new A/C hose, place it in position and secure it with the fuel tank reinforcement brace, underbody support brackets, and catalytic converter heat shield. Lower the vehicle and install the inlet hose support bracket if replacing the inlet tube and hose assembly. Connect the inlet and outlet lines to the compressor hose fitting, and connect the inlet tube to the accumulator. Finally, set the plastic spare tire panel in place, install the jack support bracket, and secure the jack and spare tire.

Finally, have the vehicle air conditioning system recharged by a professional.
