To delete it from Samurai models, unbolt the negative terminal from the battery and drain the oil out of the transmission and the transfer case. It is done with the removal of the transfer case and the transmission shift lever while still within the vehicle. Last, it is possible to assemble the shift lever inside the vehicle, reconnect the negative battery cable, and conduct road test to ensure that the car runs as required and the chances of electrical leakage are eliminated. Remove the rear mount to crossmember bolts and the crossmember-to-frame bolts, then take out the two engine rear support-to-transmission extension housing bolts.
