    Q:
How do you assemble the radio control and remove various speakers on Chevrolet Cruze? Posted by Customer
    A:
Since, the radio control is access through this area - the center trim panel, the vent assembly and the instrument panel accessory bezel are to be removed first. Next you have to unscrew the radio control assembly mounting screws followed by pulling the controller from dash and lifting on the illustrated connectors. As for the connector for the driver's information display bezel, unscrew it and loosen its electrical connector. For 2015 and earlier models, there are radio mounting screws to be removed, taking out the radio and cutting all connections of the antenna cable, electrical connectors, and ground strap. Installation proceeds in the opposite manner. As for the models made in 2016 or later, to get to the radio receiver, one has to take away the trunk or rear compartment right side trim panel, then to undo the electrical connectors of the radio receiver, unclip it from its mounting bracket and then take out of the car, while the installation process is the reverse of the above mentioned procedure. For the A-pillar speakers, one has to take off the trim panel, then disconnect the electrical connector, and gently but firmly pull the speaker out of the mounting bracket. For instrument panel corner speakers, use a small pry tool to release the foliage, turn the appropriate screws, take out the bolts, push away the Instrument panel corner speakers, disconnect the connector of the speaker and take away the speaker. For center speaker, grille must be lifted and removed, electrical connector of headlight automatic control light sensor has to be disconnected, fasteners of the center speaker has to be removed and the speaker must be lifted and the electrical connector has to be disconnected. For door speakers, the door trim panel should be unbolted, the mounting screw should be unscrewed, the speaker should be pulled up and the electrical connector should be disconnected. For rear speakers to be observed that not all models come with them; for 2015 and earlier models the rear package tray has to be removed and then the screws holding the speakers on has to be taken out and the housing pulled off and the electrical connector disconnected. On 2016 and later models, to remove the speaker, you have to first remove the rear carpet and floor panel, take out the speaker mounting bolts, then lift the speaker from the rear floor compartment, disconnect the electrical connectors and then remove the speaker, to install, reverse the process.

    Q:
How do you disconnect and install a radio and speakers on Chevrolet Malibu? Posted by Customer
    A:
To disconnect the radio turn off the battery and unplug the negative cable then remove the center dash trim bezel. Fourth, take out the radio mounting screws and pull out the radio from the instrument panel together with the removal of the electrical connectors and anten the back part. Installation is done in the reverse of the removal process, and after fixing a new or a replacement factory radio, a scan tool is needed to 'marry' it to the car, a task that is best handled by a dealer service department or a properly equipped independent auto repair shop. For door speakers, first, you will have to take off the door trim panel, location the speaker mounting screws and pull the speaker from the door, and remove the electrical connector. The process of installation is just the exact opposite of the removal process. For front instrument panel speaker, the grill has to be detached along with the screws, the speaker is lifted from the dash and electrical connector is disconnected similarly to install one has to reverse the whole process. For A-pillar tweeters, it is advised to pop the A-pillar trim out by releasing retaining clips - unplug the electrical connecter - remove the tweeter connected to the trim - in case if tether is removed from top of A-pillar trim, then replace it. The process of installation, therefore, is the mirroring opposites of the process of removal. For the rear speaker, pull the parcel shelf trim panel down and then take out the screws mounting the speaker, then, you remove the speaker and disconnect the electrical connector and the installation is done in a reverse manner. The right side trunk speaker amplifier is located in the right side of the trunk area, access involves removing the luggage compartment right-side trim panel, after which six screws hold the amplifier to the rear of the wheel well, and the electrical connections must be disconnected and reconnected in reverse order.
