How do you remove the rear stabilizer bar? Posted by Customer
    A:
To uninstall the sway bar kit, you must first raise the rear of the vehicle and securely support it by using jack stands. Set up blocks on the front wheels to stop the car from rolling off its stands. Afterwards, remove the lower nuts, washers and bolts from sway bar kit-to-frame bracket links. Then remove U-bolt nuts and pull off the sway bar kit clamps. Finally, take out whole sway bar kit assembly. Also check for cracks, tears or deterioration in all sways bar kit and link bushings after removal to replace them if necessary. In short, undoing these steps should be followed with tightening of all fasteners up to torque specifications while installing a new sway bar kit.
