    Q:
How do you remove and install the front stabilizer bar and bushing on Chevrolet Beretta? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the Sway Bar Kit, first loosen the lug nuts on both front wheels, raise the front of the vehicle, and securely support it on jackstands while applying the parking brake and blocking the rear wheels. Remove the front wheels, then take out the Sway Bar Kit-to-control arm bolts, noting the arrangement of link bushings, spacers, and washers, keeping in mind that Beretta GTZ models have a different link setup. Next, remove the Sway Bar Bushing clamp nuts through the access holes in the suspension supports, and place a jack under the suspension support to remove the rear and center mounting bolts. Work on one side at a time, removing the two rear and two center mounting bolts, then lower the jack to allow the support to drop down, possibly loosening the two front support mounting bolts for clearance. Push up on the Sway Bar Kit while pulling down on the suspension support to separate the bushing clamp, then guide the Sway Bar Kit out through the wheel well. Inspect the bushings for wear and damage, replacing them if necessary by prying the bushing clamp off and pulling the bushings off the bar, using a silicone-based lubricant for installation. For installation, assemble the shaft bushings and clamps on the bar, guide it through the wheel well, and into position, inserting the clamp studs through the suspension support and installing the nuts finger tight. Raise the suspension supports one at a time and install the bolts loosely, center the bar in the vehicle, and install the Sway Bar Kit-to-control arm bolts, spacers, bushings, and washers, tightening all fasteners to the specified torque. Finally, install the wheels and lower the vehicle, tightening the lug nuts to the specified torque.
