To disconnect the Sway Bar Kit you need to take off the front wheel and for this; you should first loosen the lug nuts on the front wheel and then jack up the front part of the vehicle and place it on supports. For even greater stability and to prevent the trailer from swaying from side to side, it is necessary to set the parking brake and additionally turn the rear wheels to the side. Third, first take the front wheels off then unlatch the Sway Bar Link from the bar and from the strut in the same procedure, if the ball stud moves with the nut, use a wrench to hold it. Remove the four 10mm bolts that secure the Sway Bar Bushing brackets then slid the Sway Bar Kit away from the subframe and the body. When the Sway Bar Kit is taken out, the retainer bushings should be slid off and examined for cracks, wears and other signs of deterioration, new ones should then be installed if needed. For the bushing area of the Sway Bar Kit, use the wire brush to remove any traces of rust or dirt that may be present and for greasing, use the vegetable oil to lubricate the inside and out side of the new bushing to ease its assembly.

Support the rear mufflers with a jack, detach the exhaust system hangers, and lower the exhaust system.
