The driveshaft which is also referred to as the Drive line Support Assembly is enclosed in a separate structure which is fixed to the motor and transmission making it necessary to first remove the transmission so as to take out the driveshaft housing. Screw in the transmission with just the match marks on the torque converter and the driveplate aligning. In concerns with the automatic transmission models, once the driveshaft housing and transmission have been fitted, bolt and tighten the torque converters bolts, now tighten the driveshaft hub clamp fastener only with hand to tighten it, replace the driveshaft bearing plug bolts followed by starting the vehicle, let the car idle for at least 10 minutes after it has been started and then switch off the engine then finally tighten the driveshaft hub clamp fastener and fit the Replace any fluids that you may have drunk in the process if you have not drained them already.
