Remove the windshield wiper trim caps and pry off the wiper arms; then remove washer retaining nuts and washers; while doing so it would be wise to mark wiper position relative to wiper shaft before the wiper arms are removed. After them, take off the cowl cover together with three screws that connect the windshield wiper motor and linkage assembly to the cowl. Remove the assembly from the cowl, remove electrical connector from wiper motor by pressing the tab and sliding the lock and put the assembly on a clean bench. Loosen the wiper linkage with the help of trim removal tool or a big screwdriver I have found that sometimes the nylon spherical bearing connects the wiper motor crank arm with the wiper linkage. Unmount the nut that connects the actuator arm to the motor shaft intimately, set a reference point with respect to the installed position of the actuator arm and then debonair the actuator arm. Next pull out the motor mounting screws and then take out the motor with the help of your hands. For installation just reverse the removal process with utmost care while adjusting the marks located on the actuator arm and motor shaft and the marks on the windshield wiper arms and the wiper arm shafts.
