This procedure is done for the front door and the rear door. First of all, it is required to remove the connection between the cable and the negative terminal of the battery. Take off the door trim panel and the watershield. If your window glass has a tint to it, do not try to keep the glass of the window in place using tape while pulling up the Window Regulator assembly since this will pull off the tint material. However, employ a set of suction cups connected by a cable that should be plastic-covered; then you fix the cups on both sides of the glass with the cable placed above the opening of the door. Release the window glass from the regulator bracket retainer, then lift the window fully to the top without using the power of the Window Regulator and secure the same from moving downwards with the use of some types of tape. Loosen the Window Regulator motor connector harness and the mounting nuts on the Window Regulator motor. Tuck the cables and window tracks all the way over each other enough to allow the entire assembly to be dragged out of the door access opening. To set up the motor apart from the Window Regulator, you have to undo the needed bolts and shift or transfer the components. Installation is the reverse of removal and just before fitting the roller and the wear points of the Window Regulator need to be lubricated with the white lithium grease. Program the window express function afterward.
