    1. Repeat the battery disconnection. 2. Drain the coolant. 3. Remove the mass airflow sensor, air duct, and crankcase ventilation pipe if needed. 4. Remove the nuts attaching the crossover pipe to the rear exhaust manifold. 5. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the rear spark plugs. 6. Remove the EGR pipe and transaxle dipstick tube if obstructing access. 7. Unbolt the power steering pump without removing the hoses. 8. Detach the alternator support bracket. 9. Remove the heater hoses and coolant tube brackets above the exhaust manifold. 10. After removing the exhaust manifold heat shield and engine lifting bracket, detach the IAC wiring from the throttle body. 11. Set the parking brake, block the rear wheels, and raise the front of the vehicle securely on jackstands. 12. Under the vehicle, remove the two exhaust pipe-to-manifold bolts. 13. Disconnect the oxygen sensor electrical connector at the rear manifold. 14. Remove the oxygen sensor to prevent damage during manifold removal. 15. Finally, remove the six bolts to detach the manifold from the head.
