The process should commence with lowering of the systems refrigerant. Lifting the hood, see the top of the battery and then turn off the airbag module, if it is available, and then remove the negative terminal from the battery. Move to the firewall where one bolt will have to be removed to facilitate the disconnection of the evaporator inlet and outlet lines. Deproy the mounting nut for the evaporator case that is mounted on the firewall, second, the instrument panel center brace and furthermore, the blower case. Slightly loosen the retaining band that joins the evaporator case to the heater case and shift the band on to the heater case. Pull electrical connectors away from the evaporator case and take off the drain tube. Take the 2 halves of the case apart, unbolt the evaporator pipe and pull out the evaporator core out of the case.
