Q:
How do you remove the Condenser for Chevrolet Cruze? Posted by Customer
A:
To remove the air conditioning system, start by discharging the system and disconnecting the negative battery terminal. Then, remove the air intake duct, front bumper cover, and radiator cover. If applicable, remove the radiator support brackets. Next, disconnect the refrigerant inlet and outlet lines from the condenser and remove the air conditioning pressure sensor. Remove the air deflector fasteners and disengage the condenser retaining clips to lift the condenser out. Before reconnecting the refrigerant lines, apply refrigerant oil to new O-rings and install them in the fittings. Finally, tighten the condenser inlet and outlet nuts to the specified torque. For installation, follow the reverse steps and ensure the system is evacuated, recharged, and leak tested.
