To take out the rear Sway Bar Kit, the rear wheel nuts needs to be loosened, the rear of the vehicle raised with jack stands and the front wheels blocked to prevent the car from moving. Thirdly, take off the rear wheels. For Sway Bar Kit with specific RPO links, loosen the nut and pull the link bolt, washer, and Sway Bar Bushing through the required hole, while placing the all the components in a convenient order. Unbolt the bracket housing down and thread the Sway Bar Kit out of the space in between the exhaust and the car body. With the Sway Bar Kit disconnected, slide off the bushings and look for cracks or signs of wear and tear , if there they are to be replaced. On the Sway Bar Kit, bushing area should be cleaned with a stiff wire brush in a bid to remove rust or dirt. For installation, lubricate inside and outside face of the new bushing with vegetable oil only, because petroleum as well as mineral oil type lubricants are not suitable.
