Clean the radiator with compressed air and a soft brush, avoiding bending the cooling fins, and inspect the rubber insulators for deterioration. Installation follows the reverse order of removal, ensuring the radiator mounting pins are seated in the rubber insulators. After installation, fill the cooling system with the appropriate antifreeze and water mixture, start the engine to check for leaks, and allow it to reach normal operating temperature, rechecking the coolant level and adding more if needed. For vehicles with automatic transmissions, check and add fluid as necessary.
