To take out the timing belt, tensioer, crankshaft sprocket, and belt guide follows these steps, Shear off the lower section of the engine front cover, unbolt the pan, and then remove the pickup tube. Then, remove the alternator as well as its pivot Peg, remove the bolt of the dip stick tube and slide it from the front case of the engine. After getting the cover-to-block bolts off, be very cautious when pulling the front cover away from the engine. Remove the cover from the rear of the case and take out the inner and outer oil pump gears, and the crankshaft oil seal from the front of the case. Take off the pressure relief valve retainer, pressure relief valve spring, and plunger; if the latter fails to come out smoothly it will require some force. Wash all the component as awhole, scraping off the former gasket materials and checkingthe components for signs of wear or damage, and where possible replacing the components. Lubricate and fit the oil pump gears, check and set clearance across the gears and compare it with set standard clearance, fill the pump cavity with petroleum jelly and put on the cover and tighten the screws to the recommended torque. Replace a crankshaft front oil seal and several components of the pressure relief valve. Place the front cover on the engine with a new gasket wedging the oil pump tangs into the crank place the bolts and tightening it. Install the rest of the parts in a backward way, put some oil, then start the vehicle and confirm if there is a pressure and leakage of the oil.
