    Q:
How often should the hinges and latch assemblies on doors, hood, and trunk be lubricated on Chevrolet Colorado? Posted by Customer
    A:
Every 3000 miles or every 3 months, a few drops of light oil or lock lubricant should be applied to hinge and latch assemblies that are found on the doors, hood as well as the trunk. Also on the door the latch strikers should be greased with a thin layer of grease so that they do not wear out and operate with ease. It is also helpful to spray the graphite lubricant on the door and trunk locks since they are they will be in constant use during the drive.
