    Q:
How do you remove the Steering Knuckle? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the hub and bearing assembly, start by loosening the wheel lug nuts and raising the vehicle securely on jack stands. Remove the wheel and, if working on a 4WD model, remove the hub cover and unscrew the drive axle/hub nut using a socket and large breaker bar. Remove the hub and bearing assembly, followed by the disc splash shield from the steering knuckle. Unbolt the brake hose bracket from the top of the steering knuckle and disconnect the tie-rod end and ball joints and remove the steering knuckle. For installation, simply reverse the steps, ensuring that the ball joint, tie-rod end, and hub and bearing assembly fasteners are tightened to the torque specifications.
