To get the components out, one has to unbolt the wheel lug nuts but do not take them off, then lift the front of vehicle and place it on jack stands. Second, remove the tire and wheel assembly; raise the next lower control arm with a floor jack; then, you will get rid of the disc brake caliper, hub, disc, and splash shield. Remove the tie-rod-end from the steering knuckle, then get rid of the upper and lower ball-joints and at last you can sever the steering knuckle. To install, the steering knuckle is to be positioned in place with the upper and lower ball studs fitted into the knuckle bosses at this stage the ball stud nuts are to be installed and tightened to the specified torque and new cotter pins added. Install the splash shield, then fit the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle, lubricate the wheel bearings, install the hub, the disc, and bearings and screw the nut. After that, fit in the brake caliper; below this, the tire and wheel assembly must be properly placed and the wheel lug nuts tightened to just the right tightness by merely using fingers. Wash out the vehicle and after sometime when the brake dust comes out tighten the wheel lug nuts to the appropriate torque. Last of all, go to a dealer service department or an alignment shop and ask for toe-in validation.

Attach the hub and bearing assembly to the knuckle.
