The hub and the wheel bearing are locked by being pressed in together and likewise can be pulled out as a unit and can be taken to a mechanic's shop for servicing. The process can be started by applying some force in the wheel lug nuts to loosen them, lifting the vehicle off the ground then placing it on jackstands, finally removing the wheel. Second, it is necessary to take off the brake disc. For models from 2007 or earlier the wheel speed sensor electrical connector should be disconnected and harness be released from the clips. For the year 2008 and above models, un-bolt the wheel speed sensor from the steering knuckle attachment point. Next, the three hub mounting bolts on the back side of the steering knuckle should be brought out thus pulling out the hub and bearing assembly. The mating surfaces of the knuckle and the hub and bearing assembly should, therefore, be clean before installation, which is done in the reverse order of removal. Screw the mounting bolts of the brake disc and others to the required torque, fit the brake disc and then the brake caliper with the mounting bolts screwed to the required torque. Last, arrange the wheel and the wheel lug nuts and lower the car, and then tighten those nuts up to the recommended torque setting.

Finally, tighten the brake component fasteners to the specified torque, install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts to the required torque.
