Attach the release bearing to the clutch fork ensuring both fork tabs fit into the bearing recess, then lubricate the clutch fork ball socket with high-temperature grease and push the fork onto the ball stud until firmly seated. Apply a light coat of high-temperature grease to the face of the release bearing where it contacts the pressure plate diaphragm fingers. Install the clutch housing and tighten the bolts to the specified torque, then apply a light coat of grease to the transmission front bearing retainer before completing the installation by reversing the removal procedure and tightening all bolts to the specified torque.
