    Remove the front seats, center console (if equipped), knee bolster, and detach the shift cable from the steering column. Disconnect the steering shaft from the intermediate shaft. Remove the door sill trim, kick panels, front pillar trim, and top trim panel. Pull the trim panels away from the instrument panel center support bracket and remove the bracket (if equipped).
