    The windshield wiper and blade assembly needs to be checked on regular basis for any sort of damages, loose speedy and ravaged or frayed blade elements. Dirt can gather on the wiper blades and reduce the quality of the road film so it should be washed with a mild detergent solution. If the wiper blade elements of the wand will have cracks, wear, twists or do not clean sufficiently, they will add further ones. To replace the wiper blade assembly, one has to pull up the arm assembly so that it is out of contact with the glass, press upwards on the release lever and sliding the wiper blade assembly out of the hook positioned at the end of the arm. Subsequently, connect the new wiper to the arm and make certain that it stays in place because you will hear a click.

    The windshield wiper blade elements should be checked periodically for cracks and deterioration. To begin, lift the wiper blade assembly away from the glass. Next, press the release lever and slide the blade assembly out of the hook at the end of the wiper arm. Squeeze the two rubber prongs at the end of the blade element to slide it out of the frame, noting that these elements can be replaced by hand without the need for pliers. Compare the new element with the old one for length and design, as some replacement elements may feature a three-piece design held together by small plastic sleeves; keep the sleeves in place until you start sliding the element into the frame, removing them as needed. Slide the new element into the frame with the notched end last, securing the clips into the notches. Finally, reinstall the blade assembly on the arm, wet the windshield, and test for proper operation.

    The rubber wiper element is secured to the blade assembly at one end of the blade element channel; compress the locking feature on the element to clear the tangs on the blade assembly channel claw and slide the element out of the frame.
