Thus to get to the front Sway Bar Kit, one has to jack up the front part of the vehicle and disconnect it from the lower control arm. Further, unbolt the Sway Bar Kit brackets from the frame and elevate the Sway Bar Kit out of the way. Remove the link bolts, spacers and rubber grommets from the lower control arms or the Sway Bar Kit and check the general condition of every fastener as well as deterioration; replace any strained or worn accessory. If new frame bushings are required, then should be placed with the slit towards the front of the car. Insert the bushings on the Sway Bar Kit and align it in place; tighten the remaining upper retaining bolts as well as the Sway Bar Kit to spring connection. Make sure the rear axle carries the weight of the vehicle only and then tighten the bolts to the recommended torque and then lowered the vehicle.

To install, position the stabilizer bar in the vehicle, raise the exhaust system into position, and secure it. Position the bushings on the stabilizer bar and install the brackets. Install the link upper nuts and lower bolts, tightening the upper link nut to 38 ft lbs. (52 Nm) and the lower link bolt to 44 ft. lbs. (60 Nm). Finally, tighten the stabilizer bracket bolt to 44 ft lbs. (60 Nm), install the wheel and tire assembly, and lower the vehicle.

The final step is to install the right side wheel and tire assembly and lower the vehicle.
