    Q:
How do you remove the air conditioning compressor? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin removing the air conditioning compressor by diconnecting the negative cable from the battery. Once done, separate wire harnesses and remove line fitting bolts. Following this, drivebelt should be removed as well as compressor- to-bracket bolts and nuts. Finally, pull out the compressor from under the hood. To install a new one, position it in place on that bracket and tighten up nuts and bolts firmly. Remember to put back the drivebelts and connect wire harneses with the compressors. Install line fitting bolts with new o-rings tightened securely. Finally reconnect negative cables back to batteries. Take your vehicle to a service station where system is evacuated then recharged.
