To replace exterior light bulbs you have to begin by removing the headlight housing. For the 2007 and models before it, lift the bulb cover and turn it to be removed While for the 2008 and later models, you will have to unscrew the cover mounting screws. Further, to replace the bulbs for the 2007 and prior models, the bulb holder needs to be unscrewed in the counterclockwise direction without detaching the electrical connector while for 2008 and later models, the tabs on the bulb holder are pressed and the holder is rotated in the counterclockwise direction. To replace the bulb, one must simply pull it in the direction of the arrow till it is free of the holder and then put it back in by pulling the bulb in the opposite direction. For fog light bulbs, safely lift the front of the vehicle off the ground properly using jackstands, then remove the splash shield if necessary, then disconnect the electricals, unscrew the bulb in an anti-clockwise fashion to remove it and then screw in the new bulb in a clockwise direction. The center high-mounted brake light is not a part that can be ordered separately; for 2007 and earlier models, open the trunk lid on the car, then undo the trim panel and electrical connectors, and then take off the brake light panel, to finally put back in the reverse order. For 2008 and later models, pop the trunk lid, then the trim panel and interior screws to expose the high mounted brake light assembly and mounting nuts. For wagon models pull the liftgate, undo the fasteners of the interior panel, disconnect electrical connectors, and take out the assembly. Neither of the two bulbs is replaceable since, in order to access the taillight bulbs, one has to dismantle the taillight housing and unscrew the assembly mounting screws. License plate light bulbs for 2007 and earlier models are replaced by having to remove the trunk trim panel, unclip the lens, and to turn the bulb socket anti-clockwise to take it out. For the models after 2008, one has to open the trunk lid, then remove the lens using a screwdriver, pull the electrical connector, and twist the bulb socket counterclockwise for removal. Wagon models call for the liftgate to be opened, tabs to be depressed to release the lens and steps the same as models 2 and 3 for disconnecting and removing the bulb. For interior light bulbs I have to gently pop off the overhead lens, unscrew the lighting assembly and now I can pull the bulb straight out. For cargo light bulbs in wagon models, pull out the cargo light on and off, then unplug its electrical connector then unscrew the bulb from the terminals, the same process is followed from the above steps but in the reverse.
