    Q:
How to disconnect and install the MAF/IAT sensor for Chevrolet Corvette? Posted by Customer
    A:
For 5.7L (LS1 and LS6) and 6.0L (LS2) engines, remove the electrical connector from the MAF/IMT sensor. Break loose the clamps on the intake air ducts and those of MAF sensors-to-air filter housings. The intake air duct is separated from the throttle body as well as MAF/IMT sensor, after which the latter is removed from air filter housing. Reinstall everything as it was during disassembly. Tighten them firmly. It should also be noted that on supercharged 6.2L (LS9) engines, the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is a separate sensor mounted on the charge air cooler; while for other models, the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor is located on the side of the intake air duct portion of the air filter housing. Remove electrical connector to MAF/IMT sensor. Remove fasteners by unscrewing them, then detach this device from your car's air intake duct. Reinstallation follows removal steps in reverse.

    Q:
How do you remove the MAF sensor for Chevrolet Cobalt,HHR and Saturn ION? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the MAF sensor, begin by turning the ignition key OFF. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor by pushing the tab on the connector with a screwdriver and pulling outward on the connector lock. If necessary, remove the left front fender well liner for better access to the MAF sensor on the air intake canister.

    Q:
How do you remove and install the MAF sensor on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
Between the air filter housing and the air intake duct, you will find the MAF sensor. Begin with the removal of air intake duct and resonator. Then disconnect electrical connector from MAF sensor. Thereafter, loose the hose clamp screws that hold MAF sensor to the air filter housing in V8 models or to the air intake duct in six- cylinder models. When removing MAF sensor from V8 models, just pull it off the top of the air filter housing cover. For six-cylinder models, remove MAF sensor by pulling off air intake duct and then pull off MAF sensor from between air filter housing and air intake duct. Install is opposite of removal. Ensure that the embossed arrow on the MAF sensor points towards engine direction.
