To replace a hose, first remove the radiator pressure cap when the engine is cool. Drain the cooling system into a clean container. Loosen the hose clamps and remove the hose carefully. Clean the hose connections and check the clamps, replacing if needed. To install the new hose, dip the ends in coolant, slide the clamps over the hose, and secure the hose ends over the connections. Refill the cooling system with coolant or a coolant-water mixture.
