Q: How to remove and install a window regulator/motor assembly?
A: Wear gloves when working inside the door openings to protect against cuts from sharp metal edges. FRONT: Remove the door trim panel and the plastic watershield. Lower the window glass all the way down. Remove the door window glass. On power window models, be sure to remove the key from the ignition switch. On power window models, disconnect the electrical connector from the Window Regulator motor. Remove the Window Regulator mounting bolts. Mark the position of the Window Regulator guide rail mounting boll before loosening to insure correct reassembly. Remove the Window Regulator from the door. Lubricate the rollers and wear points on the Window Regulator with white grease before installation. Installation is the reverse of removal. REAR: Remove the door trim panel and the plastic watershield. Lower the window glass all the way down. Remove the door window glass.
