  • Q: Where is the brake light switch located and how do you access it?
    A: The brake pedal bracket's top is where the brake light switch is found in the driver-side footwell. The driver's side lower trim panel must be removed to gain access to it. Once the panel has been taken off, disconnect the electric connector from the switch and turn the switch 90 degrees clockwise to take it out. For fitting of new switch, rotate it counterclockwise through 90° while sliding it into its mounting bracket then immediately connect up electrical connector. After fitting, push down on the brake pedal until it stops moving and draw outwards on plunger before releasing brake pedal . Lastly press down on the brake and then release it check that when you put your leg back there are no more lights shining again.
