Saturn LS Steering Knuckle

The Steering Steering Knuckle of Saturn LS vehicles is used in the suspension and steering systems and holds the front wheels to the vehicle. It can have control arms, tie-rod ends and spindle or hub which enable it to move up and down in response to the road surface and from side to side in response to the steering. Several steering knuckle designs are available on the market, which are predominantly distinguished by their RWD and FWD/AFW/4WD applications. RWD cars can have an integrated spindle in the knuckle, but hub/bolted axle may be seen within the knuckles in the FWD/AWD/4WD designs where the drive axle passes through the same. Changes in the steering knuckle have occurred as follows: kingpins and the modern types which are featured in most of the current models. Proper inspection of the knuckle and the required components must be conducted repeatedly, which, in turn, will call for constant maintenance of the knuckle.

Each OEM Saturn LS Steering Knuckle we offer is competitively priced and comes with the assurance of the manufacturer's warranty for the part. Furthermore, we guarantee the speedy delivery of your orders right to your doorstep. Our hassle-free return policy is also in place for your peace of mind.

Saturn LS Steering Knuckle Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to remove and install a front steering knuckle and hub assembly on Saturn LS?
A: To start with, loosen the driveaxle/hub nut and wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle and support it on jackstands. Then remove the brake caliper and support it with a piece of wire, remove the caliper mounting bracket and brake disc. If equipped with ABS, remove the wheel speed sensor. Afterward, mark the strut to the steering knuckle; then loosen but not remove the strut-to-steering knuckle bolts. Thereafter separate the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle arm under which is positioned a balljoint-to-steering knuckle pinch bolt that you should remove so as to separate the balljoint. The next step is removing the driveaxle/hub nut and push out driveaxle from hub supporting it with wire. At this point remove strut-to-knuckle bolts by carefully separating steering knuckle from strut or you can say vice versa I guess it's all up to you.
