To detain the control arm, first loosen the wheel lug nuts at the side to be removed, lift the front of the car and securely jack it, then take off the wheel. Then, use the wrench to loosen the nut and a bolt and with help of the prybar separate the control arm from the 
Steering Knuckle. Lift the front suspension crossmember with a floor jack, and unfasten the control arm front pivot bolt and the rear bushing bolt, and the nuts which securing the control arm. In terms of the control arm, visually inspect for distortion and check bushing for wear and replace them, while on the same note, do not try and correct bent control arms. As for the installation, they have to be made in the reverse order to exercises, having tightened all screws save for the front pivot bolt until the outer end of the control arm has been lifted with a floor jack to emulate normal ride height. When tightening the subframe to the car chassis four bolts the mechanic has to use a bar equivalent to the diameter of the bolts to align each side until the bolts can be slowly inserted one by one and once all four are finger tightened the bolts must be tightened to the specified torque. Last but not the least, fit the wheel and the lug nuts, lower the car, and finally tighten the lug nuts; It is recommended that the front wheel alignment should be checked and needs to be adjusted if required after the completion of the job.
