To remove differential assembly, begin by raising the rear of the automobile and supporting it firmly with jackstands, also placing blocks in front of the wheels to stop it from rolling. Then take off the driveshaft, drive axles and finally rear exhaust system. Following that put a floor jack under the differential assembly and secure it using wire or any other similar way. Unfasten the differential rear mounting bolts as well as both front mounting nuts. Lower the differential slowly enough to unplug electrical connectors before removing it. To reinstall, reverse steps of removal ensuring all mounting fasteners are not tightened until they have all been installed. Lastly, tighten fasteners to torque specifications.
