How to replace the Output Shaft Speed sensor on Pontiac G6?

There are two transmission speed sensors, there are two sensors referring to as the Input Shaft Speed (ISS) sensor and the Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor. The ISS sensor is embedded in the transaxle and cannot be replaced without the help of a dealer service department or any quality transmission service centre. The OSS sensor is mounted at the right end of he back side of the transaxle near the right Inner CV joint. The OSS sensor is removed and to do so, lift the front of the car and place the car on jackstands. Pull out the wiring harness out of the clip and separate the electrical connector from the OSS sensor and put the harness aside. Pop off the sensor hold-down bolt and the hold-down clamp and then simply take out the sensor from the transaxle housing. Remove the old O-ring from the OSS sensor and make sure that a new one is used in mounting the sensor even if the old one is to be reused. Reinstallation takes place in the reverse order of removal and they tighten back the sensor retaining bolt.
