- Q: How do you remove and install the upper and lower intake manifolds in 3.6L V6 engine on Pontiac G6?A: To get to the upper intake manifold you must first turn the engine off and release the fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Subsequently, require the removal of the engine top cover, as well as the outlet tube, which is located in the air filter housing.
