GMC Terrain Air Filter Box Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How do you remove the air intake duct for Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain?
A: Begin the process of removing the air intake duct by disconnecting the PCV hose from the resonator on 2.4L engine models or the PCV fresh air tube from valve cover in V6 engine models. Next, undo the clamps at both ends of the intake duct and lift it off. To install, you only need to reverse this sequence. Similarly, to remove the air filter box, loosen its clamp and remove its duct from it. Then unplug MAF sensor's electrical connector and take out box mounting fastener so as to lift off box. Conversely, installation is just about reversing removal steps.
