  • Q: How do I remove and reinstall the wiper motor?
    A: Detach the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. Remove the cowl vent grille. Remove the wiper linkage stud nut, detach the wiper link, and unplug the electrical connector, then remove the motor assembly-to firewall bolts, detach the motor, and lift it from the engine compartment. Installation is the reverse of removal. Detach the wiper arm and remove the nut, bezel, and gasket. Open the tailgate and remove the trim panel and cover. Remove the retaining bolts, unplug the electrical connector, then lift the wiper motor from the vehicle. Installation is the reverse of removal.
