A: Disconnect the battery cable from the negative battery terminal. Then, take off the upper air intake duct, remove the upper fan shroud screws and take off the upper fan shroud. Next, remove the nuts holding the radiator fan/clutch assembly to the studs on the water pump. Hold the water pump pulley stationary and loosen the large nut retaining the radiator fan/clutch assembly to the water pump hub. Remove the fan and clutch. Off the vehicle, separate the fan from the clutch. Installation is the reverse of removal.
