A: You can let go of the parking brake by unfastening the lugnuts on your back wheel in case you want to remove a rear cable first. After that, lift the vehicle and put it in place using jack stands before taking out its tire. To relieve pressure from the front cable, try loosening the adjusting nut. Next, remove the parking brake pedal assembly from the kick panel and pull out a plug at one end of the cord from an aperture in a ratchet cam. Squash down on two prongs near the rope socket and draw it through its bracket. Disengage forward one for front cables from connector located behind equalizer under vehicle . The reverse of removal is installation so have this mind when you are done with everything else never forget that you need to adjust cable.
