Q: How do I remove and install the throttle body and gasket for Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon?
A: To remove the air intake duct, the electrical connector and the evap canister purge line should be unfastened from throttle body. By so doing, we will disconnect EVAP purge line and a throttle body electrical connector. Remove the mounting bolts and separate the throttle body and gasket. Those were taken out while removing throttle body mounting bolts. Clean old gasket material on both throttle body and intake manifold then attach a new one. Tighten the holding down bolts. When reinstalling, reverse what you did when removing it.
